Ian Fleming Publications has announced today, on what would have been the 113th anniversary of the birth of 007's creator, that Anthony Horowitz will write a third James Bond novel, to be published by Jonathan Cape in May 2022.
Much like TRIGGER MORTIS (2015) and FOREVER AND A DAY (2018), this book will take place in the same timeline as the Ian Fleming novels. A tight-lipped Horowitz teased Bond fans that "an old enemy" will return and that the novel will follow up the final events of THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1965), just after Bond had his showdown with Francisco "Paco Pistolas" Scaramanga on a Jamaican swamp.
