Rupert Hine, lyricist for "The Experience of Love", dies at 72


British producer and lyricist Rupert Hine has passed away on Friday at the age of 72, Deadline reports. In 1995, he teamed up with composer Eric Serra to pen the lyrics for "The Experience of Love", end title song for GOLDENEYE.


News of his passing was announced by the Ivors Academy of Music Creators, where Hine was a board member, without giving further details. Hine worked with artists like Rush, the Thompson Twins, Bob Gedolf, Suzanne Vega and "GoldenEye" main title performer Tina Turner. Apart from GOLDENEYE, his film soundtrack credits include THE FIFTH ELEMENT (composed by Serra), THE ADDAMS FAMILY and BETTER OFF DEAD.
