While French composer Eric Serra was in charge of the score for GOLDENEYE, it was British composer John Altman who provided a symphonic version of the James Bond Theme for the epic tank chase sequence that has became a highlight of the 1995 film and one of the best regarded action sequences of all the 007 adventures.
This track was excluded from the Virgin Records commercial album and the 2003 Capitol remastered edition, and only a cover version by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra was made available for the fans through the 2000 compilation album BOND BACK IN ACTION 2. Now, for the first time, you can listen to three minutes of the original track without any kind of disturbing sound effects in John Altman's SoundCloud account.
