Last weekend, GOLDENEYE was released on cinemas across the United Kingdom by Park Circus, along with the rest of the James Bond as part of the 60 Years of Bond celebrations. According to numbers published by the British Film Institute, Pierce Brosnan's 007 debut grossed £16,800 (above $20,000 dollars) during the past weekend from Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7, becoming the highest-grossing film among this re-release series so far.
The 1995 Bond adventure is followed by the third film in the series starring Sean Connery, GOLDFINGER (£13,690), Roger Moore's third Bond outing THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (£12,844) and George Lazenby's first and only 007 film ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE (£11,114).
