To close its 25th anniversary year, CineFix will host a GOLDENEYE watchalong with actress Famke Janssen and director Martin Campbell next Tuesday (December 29) at 7pm GMT. You can find the watchalong video below:
The 17th James Bond adventure, which was also Pierce Brosnan's debut as Ian Fleming's famous secret agent, meant a major leap to fame for the Dutch actress and model, who played the villainous Xenia Onatopp in the hit film. GOLDENEYE was also Martin Campbell's first James Bond production, and the incredible and somehow unexpected success of this outing led him straight to introduce Daniel Craig's 007 in the first official onscreen adaptation of CASINO ROYALE eleven years later. Both movies are still the most lucrative of Campbell's career.
